ALINA: (Making her third post-bedtime apparition yesterday evening.) ME: Alina, you need to go back to bed. ALINA: Me want to go to sleep, but Chessy is keepin' me awake. (Chessy is her white, stuffed cat, which she has readopted as her constant companion ever since Franklin became Tassia's.) ME: What is Chessy doing? ALINA: Her is being noisy. ME: That's funny. I haven't heard her making any noise. ALINA: Her was doing this (Alina then proceeds to meow...to the tune of "Thine Be the Glory", or "A Toi la Gloire", if you prefer!!!) Now, if you doubt a stuffed cat's ability to sing "Thine Be The Glory", or anything else for that matter, I can personally vouch for having heard her sing between two numbers at a music school concert. We finally got Chessy calmed down, and she and Alina both went to sleep. |

Practical invention idea
| Do they make shower caps for babies? Tassia could sure use one when she eats! How else am I going to keep her from getting food smeared in her hair at every meal? |

St-Léon-sur-Vezere
Following the recommandations of a friend of Thomas's, we made a stop at St-Léon. It's a very small, quaint village with a medieval church. We parked by the river.
and made a visit of the church.
