ALINA: (Closing the refrigerator)  Mama, when can we make waffles?   ME:  Oh, I don't know.  Why?   ALINA:  Because I just saw the waffle juice.

Alina: (Getting out apples and walnuts)   Mama:  Tassia, what do you want for a snack?   Tassia:  Apomme!   Alina:  Apple and nuts!   Tassia: And cabbages!

Been awhile

Today, for the first time in almost 3 years, I pumped up my bike tires (OK, Thomas pumped them up) and went for a bike ride!

Tent?

Alina had made a tent with an umbrella last night, and arranged a whole army of stuffed animals under it.  When we got up this morning, Pongo was laying right next to it.    Mom:  Alina, look, Pongo is camping with your animals.   Alina:  They're not camping, they're hiding from the rain!   Alina, I realize that you've never been camping, but the two are not mutually exclusive...
