Butterfly food

This afternoon, Alina was playing outside.  The following conversation occurred in Franglais:

ALINA: (pulling me by the hand)  Come see my butterflies!  (Opening her free hand) I brought them some food.

ME:  (following obligingly) And what do butterflies eat?

ALINA:  Cat food, tortillas, and (looking up) moonsauce.

Later on, I got more information about moonsauce.

ALINA:  (Jumping up and grabbing the air)  Me have the moon.  (Making motions of screwing on a lid)  Me puttin' it in one jar.  (Taking moonsauce on her finger, and holding it out for me)  Here!

ME:  (Tasting the proffered moonsauce)  It's very good!

ALINA:  You can eat it on your pasta, or on whatever you like.
