The second week of April, we took a family vacation. Now, you have to understand that the last time we took a vacation that involved just us, "us" consisted of 2 people, one with a fat belly (that would be me). We decided to remedy that situation, and booked a 1-bedroom apartment for the week in Périgord. This is a region about a 4-hr drive from where we live, southeast of here. It's not mountainous, but it's hillier that where we live, and it's well-known for its foie gras (yes, yes, I know, the theory sounds disgusting, but it's actually delicious!)We had a great time. The weather was nice. It was chilly in the mornings, but it didn't rain at all the whole time. Here are some random pictures of us on vacation.
